I really like Longines watches. Before purchasing my Carpenter Brooklyn Gent, I had been thinking about buying a new Longines, but decided to wait on it. I may need to put this model on my short list. Head over to Hodinkee to read about it.
Valet Magazine recommends pairing the newly released novel, The Paris Hours by Alex George with a classic Gibson. I love Paris, reading, and Gibsons. I’d say it’s worth a try.
I’ve been wearing Sperry’s since high school. They had a brief resurgence in popularity during the prep revival in the late 00’s. Now Sperry & John Legend are teaming up on the Sperry Legend Edit – a selection of John’s favorite Sperry shoes. John has great style. Could be cool. Read more here.
I’m well into the third book of The Union Trilogy, NEVER DREAM OF DYING by Raymond Benson. Benson wrote six James Bond novels and three movie novelizations between 1996 – 2002. For the past several years, I’ve gone back & forth between reading the original Ian Fleming books, and those that followed after his death. Next to Fleming and Anthony Horowitz, I have immensely enjoyed Benson’s contributions. Now that the next Bond film, No Time To Die may be pushed out even further, I’ll need all the Bond literature I can get. I highly recommend reading The Union Trilogy which can be purchased here.
